Overview

The control AutoPay permission is now available under the roles & permissions feature.
We've added the ability to allow your end customers to turn on or off the AutoPay function. If Autopay is turned on, they will be billed with the default electronic payment method on file. If Autopay is turned off, they will not be billed automatically.

Navigate to: Roles & Permissions > Roles > Edit (the role you wish to change) > My Account Tab > Payment Methods

When the autopay permission is set to full, the end user will see the Auto-pay toggle button shown in the image below.

Control AutoPay permissions

Customers can now enroll in auto-pay as an opt-in only option. This is a permission level setting that can be disabled and enabled on a per profile basis. 

To enable this functionality please go to Home > Profiles > Account Management Only > Payment Methods > Control AutoPay Permission > Full x None x Opt-In Only.

If you set the permissions to Full, the payment methods tab will show up with both ACH and Credit Card options.

Customers are allowed to view if they are on auto-pay or not.
