Overview

When there are multiple admins working in and managing the platform, it is possible for configurations to be changed without someone's knowledge. To keep track of changes made to a journey, PeakCommerce has introduced Audit Logs.

Navigation

To access the audit log for a specific journey and view its activity, follow these steps: go to Subscribe, select the desired journey, click on Actions, and then select History.

The audit log is divided into separate sections for each component of the journey, including Journey, Categories, Products, Sub Products, Rule Sets, Rules, and Steps.

Journey

This log tracks any modifications made to the configurations of the journey.

Categories

This log tracks any modifications made to categories in the journey.

Products

This log tracks any modifications made to the products within the journey.

Sub Products

This log tracks any modifications made to the rate plans within a bundled product.

Rule Sets

This log keeps track of any modifications made to the rule sets within the journey.

Rules

This log tracks any modifications made to individual rules within a rule set.

Steps

This log tracks any modifications made to the steps within the journey.

Reading an Audit Log

The following fields of information are included in the audit logs.

Time

This column displays the date and time when the changes were made.

Actor

This column displays the name of the administrator who made the change.

IP Address

This column displays the IP address of the administrator responsible for the change.

Item

This column displays the item that was modified.

Type

This column displays the type of change that was made, such as creation of a new item or an update to a field.

Changes

This column shows the changes that have been made to the field in two different ways. It can either display the original value followed by the new value, using the format "From: (original value) and To: (new value)", or it can show a Compare button that, when clicked, opens a new tab. In the new tab, the original values are displayed in the left-hand pane and the new values are shown in the right-hand pane, highlighted in blue.
