Company Settings: Subscription
Overview
Subscription configurations govern the attributes of subscriptions generated through the PeakCommerce platform. These settings apply universally across the tenant.
You can access subscription configurations:
Company Settings > Company Information > Site Configurations > Subscription.
Admins can manage these subscription settings by clicking the edit button situated in the right-hand corner of Site Configurations.
Subscription Settings
Below is a breakdown of each setting as it appears on the Company Settings page:
Signup Profile (deprecated): This profile is linked to a Portal user created either through the legacy self-registration page or via API callout.
Partner Signup Profile (deprecated): Similar to the Signup Profile, this partner profile is assigned to Portal users created via the legacy self-registration page or API callout.
Signup Currency (deprecated): The currency assigned to a Portal user created through the legacy self-registration page or API callout.
Invoice Settlement: This new feature facilitates advanced payment management, credit/debit memos, and item-level transactions in PeakCommerce. The feature must be enabled both in the billing tenant and within PeakCommerce. A Gateway Id is required in site configurations for this feature to function.
Gateway Id: A specific identifier for the Invoice Settlement feature. If not provided when invoice settlement is enabled, it will result in an error.
Parent Subscriptions Allowed: Enables Partner Account Executive roles to view and manage their own subscriptions. This configuration adds the My Subscriptions tab to Partner Account Executives' portals. It functions only when users have permission to view current charges at the profile level subscription settings.
Update Journey Subscription Not Matched Message: Allows for a custom error message when attempting to update a product in a subscription not associated with the user's assigned journey for change orders.
Renew Journey Subscription Not Matched Message: Enables a custom error message when attempting to renew a product in a subscription not aligned with the user's assigned journey for renewal orders.
Navigation Bar Position: Controls the placement of the navigation bar within the e-commerce flow: Top, Bottom, or Both.
Product Name Display Level: Determines how product information is displayed on the My Subscriptions page: Product name, rate plane name, or rate plan charge name from the billing system.
Signup Bill Cycle Date: Sets the bill cycle day on subscriptions, either the 1st Day of Month or Auto-set to a particular day.
Contract Effective Date Input Type: Determines the input type for the Contract Effective Date field during client sign-ups.
Service Activation Date Input Type: Determines the input type for the Service Activation Date field during client sign-ups.
Customer Acceptance Date Input Type: Determines the input type for the Customer Acceptance Date field during client sign-ups.
Bundle Code Custom Field: Tracks product bundles in the billing system, allowing the tracking of bundled rate plans as a whole.
Usage Plan: Permits the display of usage products from the billing system within PeakCommerce, including usage consumption tables under My Subscriptions for customers.
Different Invoice Owner Support (deprecated): Relates to assigning invoices to someone other than the purchaser within the integrated billing system.
Enable Subscriptions to be Invoiced Separately: Aligns with the billing system setting for invoicing separately. If enabled in the billing system, it should also be enabled in PeakCommerce.
Allow Invoice Overpayment: Controls whether customers/partners/account executives can pay an amount exceeding the invoice balance in the self-service portal.
Generate Invoice on Negative Invoice: Determines whether an invoice is immediately generated upon subscription cancellation within the app.
Subscription Identifier Custom Field: Selects a subscription-level custom field from the billing system for identification purposes within the e-commerce flow.
Zuora Time Zone: Must match the timezone of the Zuora tenant integrated with PeakCommerce, affecting usage dates and caching of information.
